From Route 1-95 North (from New York City):

Follow the signs to I-95 South to I-495 West toward Silver Spring. Stay on I-495 for about 4 miles. Take exit 31.  Make a left onto Georgia Avenue and move to the right lane after exiting. Continue 4 blocks and make a right onto 16th Street. Continue on 16th Street for about 7 miles to the intersection of U Street and New Hampshire Avenue. Take a 45degree turn onto New Hampshire Avenue. Continue 2 ½ blocks to the Carlyle Suites Hotel located on your left at 1731 New Hampshire Avenue.

From I-95 South (Richmond, VA):

Take I-95 North to I-395 North towards Washington. You will pass the Pentagon on your left. Continue about ½ mile to the 14th Street Bridge. Take the bridge staying in the left lane following the signs for US Route 1 North. Continue on 14th Street and take a left on I (Eye) Street. Go 3 blocks and take a right turn onto 16th Street. Proceed about 9 blocks, going under Scott Circle and turn left onto R Street. Travel 2 more blocks and make a right turn onto New Hampshire Avenue. The Carlyle Suites Hotel will be located on your right side at 1731 New Hampshire Avenue.

From US Route 50 East:

Take US Route 50 West towards Washington. Follow the signs for New York Avenue. Continue on New York Avenue for about 3 miles approaching a long decline. You will see the Federal Express Building on the right. Turn right onto Florida Avenue at the intersection immediately after Federal Express. Continue on Florida Avenue. It will veer to the left after 9th Street and become U Street. Proceed on U Street about 6 blocks to the intersection of U Street, 16th Street, and New Hampshire Avenue. Take a left onto New Hampshire Avenue. Continue 2 ½ blocks to the Carlyle Suites Hotel on your left at 1731 New Hampshire Avenue.

From Dulles International Airport:

Using the Dulles Access Road, follow the signs for Washington. You will eventually be on I-66 East. You will see the Kennedy Center on your left. Follow the signs for Constitution Avenue and continue on Constitution Avenue after 6 blocks and turn left on 18th Street. Stay on 18th Street for approximately 15 blocks. Go directly across Connecticut Avenue, continuing on 18th Street for another 3 blocks. Take a right turn onto New Hampshire Avenue immediately after Q Street. Go 1 ½ blocks to the Carlyle Suites Hotel on your right at 1731 New Hampshire Avenue.

From Baltimore Washington Airport (BWI):

Parking:

The Carlyle Suites Hotel is pleased to provide LIMITED COMPLIMENTARY PARKING in the parking lot to the rear of the hotel. Spaces are available on a FIRST-COME FIRST-SERVED BASIS at no extra charge. To park in the Hotel's lot, you must register your vehicle at the Front Desk and obtain a parking permit. Parking permits must be clearly displayed on the dashboard of all cars in the lot. Unregistered vehicles are subject to ticketing and towing.

The Carlyle Suites Hotel is a quick walk from the Dupont Circle Metro stop on the Red Line. Use the Q Street North Exit. Turn right as you exit the escalator (this is Q Street) and follow it to New Hampshire Avenue. Turn left and follow New Hampshire Avenue to 1731. The hotel will be on your right.

Metro from Union Station (Amtrak):

The Metro station entrance is located in Union Station. Purchase an electronic fare card for each passenger to the "Dupont Circle" stop. Your fare is approximately $1.20. Board a "Red Line" train in the direction of "Shady Grove/Grosvenor". Get off at the "Dupont Circle Station". Ride the escalator to the street level and take and immediate right onto Q Street. Cross Connecticut Avenue. Continue on Q Street and make a left onto New Hampshire Avenue. Continue 2 ½ blocks to the Carlyle Suites Hotel at 1731 New Hampshire Avenue.

Metro from Regan National Airport (DCA):

Proceed to the Metro station from the baggage claim area. Buy a fare card for each passenger from the National Airport to Dupont Circle. Your fare is approximately $1.70. Board a "Yellow Line" train in the direction of "Mount Vernon Square – UDC". Get off at the "Gallery Place/Chinatown/MCI Center Station." Do not exit the station. Change trains to the Red Line in the direction of "Shady Grove/Grosvenor". Get off at the "Dupont Circle Station". Ride the escalator to the street level and take and immediate right onto Q Street.
